Saddle up indeed. This game is so awesome. Love the story, writing, dialogue. The western cowboy setting and pacing is wicked good. The choices were extremely user friendly with hints. Adored all the art - Boo's character sprites and CG's were delightful, including his adorable blush!  I'm roped in and deeply satisfied. Well done!  

Is this BxB or can I play as a female MC?

This has become a major comfort game for me. Not to mention inspires me to do a similar thing in the future just because of how well executed it is here. 

You hit a bullseye with Boone! He is the center of this game for a reason. It’s super fun to play through a western and be a cowboy right alongside him! 

The nsfw scenes which I opted into were fantastic! I played as a male cowboy because what’s better than one cowboy? Two cowboys! And I never felt like it was a secondary option to playing a lady cowboy and the same can be said for the non-binary/gender neutral option.

I like how cohesive the whole experience is, it’s not too lengthy nor too short- plenty of replay ability (at least for me). You can choose to ride this horse how ever you see fit and that’s a testament to your writing and planning!

There is just so much love put in this game and it’s evident from the second you start! I am so glad I got to experience it early! 

I look forward to everything yet to come.

Roped In is a lovely cowboy romance featuring a friends-turned-more scenario in the old west! It has a fully customizable MC (pronouns/name) and you can even name your HORSE! Not to mention it has optional NSFW scenes, and your participation or lack thereof does not affect getting a "good end." Choose as many to participate in be it some, all, or not at all! Plus, there may or may not be a spicy CG for those of you who are into that.... ;)

I loved every second playing through this game, and its become one of my favorites! Come get your daily dose of Boone (Balls)! <3

So, to say that I love this game is an absolute understatement. From the careful consideration given to recreate a historical atmosphere that’s not easy, to an absolutely loveable LI—I enjoy this game so much!!

Boone is a delightful LI, who just hits the right notes for me in all ways-and I love the flexibility that the game gives you in how you approach your romance with him. Flexibility is the name of the game in the best of ways, from pronoun choices to being able to opt out of NSFW scenes without consequences, it allows for everyone to fall for Boone (which everyone should, tbh).

The GUI is charming in how it ties in with the theme and I really enjoyed the music as well. Needless to say that I loved the writing and all the art of my favourite cowboy (a sight for sore eyes tbh). Overall, please give this game a shot and commit crimes with your bestie boyfriend 💖✨

just got an email notification from itch that someone I follow -- you! -- posted about an upcoming game. After reading the description here, I can say oh my yes please! I'm very intrigued.
